The new 2008 Honda Accord sedan takes plenty of styling ques from the newest Honda Civic, redesigned for 2006. The 8th-generation Accord has smoother lines that seem to flow seamlessly from front to back. Compared with the new Accord coupe, the sedan is a little higher with a slightly less aggressive stance. The exterior measurements will not change significantly from the previous Accord sedan.

There will probably be two engines available: a 3.5-liter V-6 at 270 hp, and a 2.4-liter V-4 at 180 hp. This will put the sedan in the same competitive range as the Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry. Expect gas mileage to improve slightly with the new model, though unfortunately, a hybrid version will not be released until at least 2009.
The price of the '08 Accord sedan has not yet been officially released by Honda, but you can expect prices to range from about $18k - 20k for the basic V-4 models, up to about 30k for a well-equipped V-6. The new Accord sedans will be showing up at dealerships this October.
