There is word that Mercedes-Benz has approved the future production of the Ocean Drive concept car on display earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The four-door convertible will likely be based on the S600, and arrive as a 2011 model. The Ocean Drive production version is expected to be powered by a 510-horsepower 5.5L V12 engine, and cost somewhere in the 100k+ range.
